Just a reminder that April 10 is Good Friday. We will not pass out lunches or AMI packets on that day. We will offer two lunches on Thursday to make sure our students have a meal for Friday.
AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) assignments will continue for Bearden School Students on Monday, March 30th.
We highly encourage you to communicate with teachers via digital means. Our goal is to offer continuous and new learning, not just review, as we venture into this way of education.
Teachers will work to contact parents & student via telephone this week as we transition into our new learning style for the next 3 weeks.
We are offering open access to wi-fi every day from 8:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. on the High school campus parking lot (park as close to the building as possible for better service) for anyone who has a phone or device and needs access to the internet for learning.
However, for those few who must have printed packets, please communicate with teachers for the best pick up/drop off areas and how to label assignments. (meal locations, Bottom Dollar Mercantile, and Dollar General).
Bearden School district will be serving free meals from 11:00-12:00 Monday-Friday at three locations. The locations are Bearden School cafeteria, Thornton First Baptist, and Holly Springs Baptist. Any child aged 18 or under, whether or not they are a Bearden student, may receive a meal.
Vehicles will drive through the location and request the number of lunches needed, pick up, and continue in the line through the line.
Seniors, you will be contacted this week by Mrs. Graves. Each one of you have different areas to be addressed to meet graduation requirements. Con-current courses must be continued. Please keep working and wait for Mrs. Graves to contact you with your specific information. We know you are missing out on the full Senior experience and our hearts go out to you. We will give you all the information we have at this time.
Report cards, for the 3rd quarter, can be viewed in each student HAC account.
School buildings are closed to the public at this time, but each office is answering phone calls and each teacher has communication/contact information and can be reached during the regular school hours.
Please be patient with us as we continue to deliver information, resources, meals, and education in the best way we can at this time. We will update you as needed.
